Our Biggest Event of the Year

When do we ever have more of an opportunity to "make the gospel relevant" to a larger, broader group of people?

At this event, we are very intentional to create an environment that opens the doors of people's hearts. We go all out with excellence to be the "salt of the earth," and cultivating a hunger for more of what Jesus has to offer.

This world is spiritually dead.

Sickness and suffering are prevalent at the beginning of 2020. In addition to that, our political system is more polarized and ugly than ever. Violence, sex trafficking, hunger, poverty, addiction, terrorism, loneliness, and fear are all symptoms of one thing: Death.  It surrounds us every single day, and is a constant reminder that without Christ, death is our destiny.

But...

“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?  O death, where is your sting?”
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.  But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Corinthians 15:54-57)

The Resurrection means New LIFE for each of us!

Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.
(Romans 6:4)

This is the BEST NEWS EVER! We are no longer slaves to fear, pain, and death. Because of Jesus we are free to live new, abundant lives!

Service to contain elements of prayer, music, video, a gospel message, and response.  Hospitality team will greet with enthusiasm and provide coffee and bottles of water.

Alternate Plan: Still working on it

In the event of a shutdown of some sort, such as school closing or a ban on public gatherings, we will move to a digital presentation of our Easter Celebration.

This is a very fluid, constantly changing situation. As of this document, we are having meetings and discussing alternate options and possibilities. We will make decisions as quickly and appropriately as possible, and communicate through our normal channels.
