2025

quarterlyREPORT

The first quarter of 2021

In the 2nd quarter, we served our community in 5 ways: Easter at River Park, Literacy Night, Rocky Railway Camp, Seamless Summer, and at a local equine rescue and sanctuary. It was a beautiful day for Easter at River Park with over 700 in attendance, 5 salvations and 12,000 eggs shot from 4 egg cannons. For Literacy Night we gave away books, dug for treasure and applied temporary animal tattoos. Kids loved it! Next at Rocky Railway Camp, 40 volunteers served 84 kids, 6 children gave their lives to Christ, and campers donated $662.12 for missions! In addition, the week before camp, 12 volunteers transformed our building into a Rocky Mountain adventure! Plus, 54 volunteers served an average of 45 kids per day for a total of 780 meals in June through the Seamless Summer Program! Lastly, our Orchard Student Ministry took 13 volunteers to help build a goat playground at Blair Haven Farm & Equine Rescue & Sanctuary.

At the Orchard, we baptized 3 this past May. Our OWOW women's ministry continued their Women of the Bible series and had a Brunch & Brush event for the ladies. We celebrated moms and dads on their special days. Plus, 4 families dedicated their children on our Parent/Child Dedication Sunday.

As you take a look at this page, we hope you're as excited as we are for what this year has already brought and for what is ahead!

Easter at River Park

We had another fantastic day at River Park for Easter! Approximately 700 attended; 5 checked the box that they gave their lives to Christ; and 12,000 Easter Eggs were shot from 4 Egg Cannons at our egg hunt.

Rocky Railway Camp

40 volunteers served 84 kids at our Rocky Railway Camp. 6 children gave their lives to Christ, and campers donated $662.12 for missions! Plus, we had an additional 12 volunteers, who served the week before camp, transforming our building into a Rocky Mountain adventure! Every single volunteer contributed to making this camp AWESOME!

Engagement

Warmer weather always sees a down tick in attendance on Sundays and on Wednesdays for Orchard Student Ministry. With Easter falling in the 2nd quarter, you'll see a jump in April Sunday attendance. LifeGroups mostly take the summer off.

          Student Ministry

Coming off DNow Weekend at the end of the 1st Quarter, we wanted our students to learn how to live as the Ekklesia. We did a deep dive over the next three months studying the Sermon on the Mount. As part of the Church, our student ministry continues to urge students to get out and serve in the community. This time we partnered with Blair Haven Farm & Equine Rescue & Sanctuary as 13 volunteers went on a Saturday to help build a goat playground. It was a hot and dirty job, but the students had a blast working together and getting to meet the animals. The pictures don't quite capture all the fun (or smells) that was experienced!

          Orchard Women of the Word

During April and May, we continued our Women of the Bible study with Rahab and Tamar. In June, we enjoyed a fun and relaxing time of fellowship at our Brunch & Brushes event.

          Orchard Guys

OG’s continue to meet the first Saturday of the month for our breakfast at iHop. It's been a wonderful time of fellowship and devotionals together.

5 of our 9 Spiritual Father’s are in mentoring relationships with spiritual sons. If you'd like to be mentored, there are 4 Spiritual Father's ready to mentor you. Email Dan Davis for more information.

          Celebrate Recovery

This quarter at Celebrate Recovery, we had communion on Good Friday. We celebrated the graduation of 9 men and women from our Step Study Class. 3 of our attendees attended the New Life Class in May. We welcomed 1 new apprentice and 2 new leaders. We also had 4 new people join our serve teams.

Our Inmate Outreach currently has 3 leaders ministering to 12 inmates. It hasn't been easy gaining access to inmates, but we're so glad we're there! God is changing lives!

          Guatemala Ministry

          Supporting Pastor Secundino Perez Herrera

Two elders and two deacons walked into a church building in Guatemala.
It is an old, run-down awful building. Pastor Secundino is trying to get his new church building built. His congregation has raised enough money for four walls and a roof, but still needed a floor, windows, and front doors.

We prayed about it, and funded the completion of their building by sending them $12,000 from our Guatemala fund so they can begin meeting there as soon as possible!

          Jeff Parker

With God's most perfect timing, Jeff Parker came on board to be our new Worship Pastor in March.  While his first month wasn't what anyone expected, we are incredibly thankful for his leadership and willingness to dive right in and serve!

He and his family are really looking forward to connecting with everyone face to face soon!

          DEEPER CONNECTIONS

We continue to look for new ways to engage with our online audience. We understand not everyone can meet in person, which is why our digital presence is so important to us, both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Take a look at the social connections we're making!

February was already a surprisingly low month, due to an unexpected snow day.  Giving tends to drop when attendance drops.

March is obviously low, since we aren't able to gather.

Fortunately, we have had online giving in place for quite some time, and have just added the option to "text to give." We hope this will continue to empower generosity for the sake of the Gospel.
