2021
quarterlyREPORT
The 2nd quarter of 2021 has seen changes and major blessings. For one, more people have returned to meeting in person as we continue to offer two services on Sunday. The construction on our new outdoor space is nearly complete. We began the project thinking we were just putting lipstick on a pig, but God had a much bigger plan.
But that's a story for August 8 at 11AM ! Join us that Sunday for our Ribbon Cutting Day, and we’ll tell the whole exciting story.
As you take a look at this page, we hope you're excited for what this year has already brought and the changes it will bring!

SEAMLESS SUMMER
We kicked the summer off "FOR GILMER" serving lunches on Tower Road beginning in June. We couldn't have done it without all of our church family stepping up to serve. Thank you!
We continue to find innovative ways to inspire growth and share the gospel with those around us both physically and digitally. Our For Gilmer strategy has adapted and grown in ways we never imagined! From serving meals to playground maintenance at Tower Road, we have been hard at work continually identifying and meeting the needs of our community.
Here are a few ways we are doing just that weekly:
Weekly Family Resource Packets Available On-Site Each Week
Praying for our Community, Leaders, and Individual Needs
Community Partnerships with the School System, Food Pantry, and local EMS

DEEPER CONNECTIONS
Our reliance on social media continues to grow and now that we're meeting in-person again, we are reconnecting on a more intimate level through worship (Sunday mornings), fellowship (LifeGroups), and serving (for Gilmer). More and more, people are looking for opportunities to connect deeper, both online and in-person.
Look at how our social connections have grown!
SUNDAYS: IN PERSON vs. ONLINE
Second Quarter we were able to not only maintain an online presence but we continued to offer two in person services. Below you will see our weekly in person attendance has been growing with the lifted Covid restrictions!
Online service participation continues to decline as more and more people return to live, in-person meeting.
2021 Quarterly General Fund
I continue to be amazed at the overwhelming generosity of our little country church. Your faithful and generous budget giving not only continues to provide for all our day-to-day ministry needs, but it has ALSO empowered us to absorb the unforeseeable construction overages that have happened during this current national inflation cycle. NOT ONLY that, but you also lovingly helped Aaron and Jamie Dean get their feet back underneath them after the theft of all of their tools and equipment. What an amazing group of people, and what an amazing God we serve!

Re | Innovate Report
The Re | Innovate project has already dramatically increased our ability to cultivate relationships. Before completion, it has already been used for life group meetings, VBS leaders, and even a birthday party!
By the end of June the renovations were really coming together. We're looking forward to celebrating in our new space at our Ribbon Cutting Day on Sunday, August 8 at 11AM.

Total Re|Innovate Giving
$80,000 was needed to break ground on this renovation! Our church family showed up in a big way and we were able to raise more than the total amount needed within weeks of presenting this project to our congregation!
Breaking Ground
After our initial cost estimating and budgeting, we made some plan revisions, and of course, our nation experienced a GIANT, unexpected price increase on all construction costs. Our spending exceeded our total giving to Re|Innovate, BUT because of your generous giving to the general fund we were able to cover all the additional costs!
