On Saturday, August 9th, we're having our OWOW Fall Kick-Off event with testimonies from Marlie Jessup, Donna Beverly and Kelin Ortega. Marlie Jessup will share her testimony of community during the loss of her husband. Donna Beverly and Kelin Ortega will share their testimony of mentorship and community during Kelin’s life in Honduras and her move to the states. Plus, we'll enjoy a light brunch, do a prayer activity and create a unique prayer journal. Cost is $10 per person.

We had an amazing first year for our women's ministry! We learned about how God used women throughout scripture to tell the story of redemption and restoration over and over again. We started the year with the Lineage of Christ, which included Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary. After a summer break we went into the fall with 3 more women of the Bible: Lydia, Deborah and Abigail. The year wrapped up with a Cookie Exchange and Christmas Party.

Starting Tuesday, Jan 20th, we begin digging into some of the names of God in the Bible. We'll continue to meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month through May 19th. One of the books that we are using for this study is Kay Arthur’s Lord, I Want to Know You: A Devotional Study on the Names of God which can be purchased on Amazon HERE. Book purchase is not required to attend.)
